When people ask about Sun Life’s credibility, I explain its role during the World War, and its being the top insurance company in the Philippines without bias. So here’s another feather on the brand’s cap: for the eighth year in a row, Sun Life is once again hailed as top insurance brand in NielsenIQ’s Campaign Asia-Pacific study called “Top 100 Brands in the Philippines.”
For the study, participants named the best brand that comes to their mind in 15 major brand categories—alcohol, apparel & accessories, automotive, beverage, consumer electronics, courier services, financial services, food, home appliances, household & personal care, media & telecommunications, restaurants, retail, sports, and transport, travel, & leisure. Here, “best” is defined as the most trusted brand or the most reputable in its category.
Sun Life ranked 67th and was the only life insurance company in the Top 100!
“Years ago, having a life insurance company land in a list of top brands was unheard of. We are happy to bring our industry to the forefront, especially at a time like this when Filipinos could truly benefit from the products and services we offer,” Sun Life Philippines CEO & Country Head Benedict Sison said.
“We thank our clients for choosing Sun Life as their partner in their financial journey. To gain their trust especially in these uncertain times is biggest achievement we could hope for.”
Now on its 126th year, Sun Life ranks the No. 1 life insurance company in the country, leading in total premiums in 2020.
